The Grand Canyon - Arizona

Yosemite – California

Arches National Park – Utah

Arches National Park comprises of the world’s largest concentration of natural stone arches. This National Park is a red, arid desert, interspersed with oddly eroded sandstone forms such as fins, pinnacles, spires, balanced rocks, and arches. The 73,000-acre region has over 2,000 of these “miracles of nature.”

Bryce Canyon City – Utah

The beauty of a red-rock wonderland

Utah’s Bryce Canyon City is the gateway to Bryce Canyon National Park, a red-rock wonderland so awe-inspiring that even the best cameras have a hard time capturing its full brilliance. The landscape is so unique, legendary and mind-boggling that it requires standing next to it, inside of it and above it to appreciate its singular beauty. The contrasting colors, textures and rock layers make Bryce Canyon a paradise for photographers, hikers and families looking to reconnect with nature – and with each other.

Canyonlands National Park – Utah

Canyonlands National Park comprises of a huge area of rugged land west and south of Moab, Utah. It consists of canyons and plateaus carved by two mighty rivers – the Colorado and the Green. The park offers some of the most challenging 4X4 roads and whitewater rapids in the world. It also offers great opportunities to hike, bike and engage in other recreational activities.

Zion National Park – Utah

Designated in 1919, Zion is Utah’s oldest national park. The park is known for its incredible canyons, including The Narrows, which attract canyoneers from around the world. Hiking possibilities are endless. With nearly three million visitors per year, Zion is Utah’s most heavily used park. Most park facilities are located in the Zion Canyon area, and it attracts the most visitors. There are four main sections in Zion National Park.

Capitol Reef – Utah

Capitol Reef National Park is characterised by sandstone creations, cliffs and canyons, and a 100-mile long bulge in the earth’s crust called the Water-pocket Fold. Erosion has carved the rock into spectacular shapes. Since its designation as a national park in 1971, the majesty of Capitol Reef has been captivating visitors with its twisting canyons, massive domes, monoliths and spires of sandstone for the past century.

Yellowstone – Wyoming

Established in 1872, Yellowstone National Park is America's first national park. Located in Wyoming, Montana and Idaho, it is home to a large variety of wildlife including grizzly bears, wolves, bison, and elk. Preserved within Yellowstone National Park are Old Faithful and a collection of the world's most extraordinary geysers and hot springs, and the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone.

Grand Tetons – Wyoming

Grand Teton is in many ways symbolic of the entire National Park System. Located in the heart of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, near the community of Jackson, Wyoming, Grand Teton is an icon for a myriad of nationally significant conservation issues including grazing, brucellosis, winter use, open space, fire management, wolf reintroduction, and water and air quality monitoring.

Monument Valley

Monument Valley was shaped as material eroded from the ancestral Rocky Mountains, and was deposited and cemented into sandstone. The formations you see in the valley were left over after the forces of erosion worked their magic on the sandstone. A geologic uplift caused the surface to bulge and crack. Wind and water then eroded the land, and the cracks deepened and widened into gullies and canyons, which eventually became the scenery you see today. Natural forces continue to slowly shape the land.

Rocky Mountains – Colorado

Rocky Mountain National Park, a priceless jewel, catch the glint of Rocky's many facets: the brief morning alpenglow on a peak, a glimpse of a wary wild creature in the brush, the sun sparkling in a stream, the glory of a mountain sunset, the solitude of a trail less travelled, the splendour of the stars-cape free of man-made light, the exhilaration of looking over the clouds, the uplift of birdsong from the branches, the haunting night music of howling coyotes and bugling elk.

Great Smokey Mountains – Tennessee

Great Smokey Mountains National Park, a wondrous diversity of life, ridge upon ridge of forest straddles the border between North Carolina and Tennessee in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. World renowned for its diversity of plant and animal life, the beauty of its ancient mountains, and the quality of its remnants of Southern Appalachian mountain culture, this is America's most visited national park.

The Everglades – Florida

Everglades National Park, the largest subtropical wilderness in the United States, boasts rare and endangered species. It has been designated a World Heritage Site, International Biosphere Reserve, and Wetland of International Importance. The park encompasses sawgrass marshes, hardwood hammocks, mangrove swamps, lakes, and Florida Bay. It is known for its animal life including the famous alligators, the largest concentration of wading birds on the American continent, 14 threatened or endangered species. The park preserves one of the world's truly unique ecosystems.
