Hong Kong, an experience of a lifetime! Hong Kong is a big city with overwhelming bright lights and bustling urban areas. Hong Kong is huge on entertainment, heritage, and retail therapy and dining. Modern skyscrapers sit next to the old Chinese markets, sanpans and junks bobbing in the harbour and will easily keep you busy for a full week.
Hong Kong is divided into four main areas, Hong Kong islands, Kowloon, the New Territories and the outlying islands. 6.8 million People live in an area 424 square miles making it the most densely populated region in the world. Surprisingly though 40% of the territory is given over to country parks.
There is so much to do in Hong Kong a few to consider are Nathan Road in the heart of Kowloon that’s Hong Kong’s equivalent to Broadway and often referred to as the golden and Victoria Peak, an 8 minute tram ride with the best panoramic view over the harbour and city. Another must is a visit to Aberdeen which is a floating city of restaurants that’s home to 12,000 people and a unique experience and can’t help suggesting Disneyland in Hong Kong.
One of our favourite resorts is the : - Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong.
