Days 1 to 5 New York

Check in at your chosen airport for your morning flight to New York. The flight takes seven hours (from Heathrow) allowing for the time difference (5 hours behind) you will arrive in New York mid afternoon.

New York is one of the most exciting cities in the world. It is often called "the city that never sleeps." In fact, Times Square at midnight seems more vibrant and active than most other cities at noon. New York has many tourist attractions like the Statue of Liberty, the United Nations headquarters, the Empire State building and over 300 museums. It is renowned for its wide variety of entertainments including the world famous Broadway theatres. There are over 30,000 restaurants in New York City plus countless bars and clubs. If you like big cities and lots of excitement, the Big Apple is a great place to visit.

Hotel suggestion: The Benjamin, New York

Days 6 to 10 Las Vegas

A 3 hour flight will take you quickly and easily  into Las Vegas, one of the most exciting cities in the world, this is your home for the next 5 nights.

Each resort hotel is a spectacle in itself, with designer shops, gondola rides, dancing fountains, world class theatre shows and a vast array of dining options that will easily keep you entertained for several weeks. However, most guests feel that 4 or 5 nights is the right length of time.

The climate in Vegas is hot and sunny from mid March through to November but turns chilly during the winter months with regular snow fall in the desert.  Las Vegas is surrounded by stunning National Parks, the Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon are a must see's and are within easy reach for a day trip, as are Lake Mead, Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon.

Hotel suggestion:  The Cosmopolitan

Day 11 - 14 Los Angeles

Time to leave the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas as you head on to Los Angeles. There are plenty of flights between the two locations, the flight is approx 45 minutes but you'll need to allocated approx 3 1/2  hours for the journey. If you prefer you could hire a car and drive yourself, it will take approx 4 1/2 hours but gives you the opportunity to see the magnificent diverse countryside, cost wise they are very similar.

Los Angeles  is a vast city that offers the visitor plenty of options on where to stay. Enjoy a few days of rest and relaxation on a beautiful California beach such as Santa Monica, Long Beach or Huntington Beach and take day trips to Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Paul Getty Museum & Universal Studios or opt to stay in West Hollywood for nightlife or downtown LA.
