Full Itinerary - orlando & Clearwater

Days 1 to 7  Orlando

Depart the UK on your chosen scheduled flight to Orlando. Upon arrival collect your rental car and proceed to your selected hotel where you will spend the next 7 nights. Orlando is recognised worldwide as Florida’s centre for family fun and is the perfect start to your holiday giving you the opportunity to take in some of Florida’s most popular theme parks, Walt Disney World, Universal Studios,  Sea World, Islands of Adventure, Wet ‘n’ Wild, Typhoon Lagoon, Discovery Cove, Gatorland, the list is almost endless. International Drive or I-Drive as they say locally is the central hub, a long meandering highway lined with hotels, resorts, diners, restaurants, malls and entertainment of every kind.  If you prefer more space, need several rooms or want a quieter environment then Orlando private holiday homes may appeal, alternatively if you want to immerse yourself in Disney or Universal then select one of the theme park properties and have everything on your doorstep.

   Days 8 to 14 St Petersburg / Clearwater      

Driving distance110 miles approximately 2 hours

After the fun and excitement of Orlando leave Mickey and friends behind and head out to the Florida’s gulf coast. Just a 2 hour drive west along Interstate 4 will bring you to the seaside resorts of Tampa, St Petersburg and Clearwater.  Clearwater offers pristine wide sandy beaches and mesmerising sunsets along with a wide range of entertainment including the nearby Busch Gardens or Clearwater Marine Aquarium and endless water sports. Watch the sunset at Pier 60," a Clearwater tradition, enjoy live music, local artists, jugglers, magicians & other entertainers every evening between 6 – 9 pm.   The gulf coast of Florida is scattered with lovely beach resorts and combined with Orlando it allows you to relax and recoup after a hectic week at the theme parks.

Day 15   Orlando  to   UK  

Driving distance110 miles approximately 2 hours

Spend your last morning relaxing on the beach before the 2 hour drive back to Orlando where you will return your hire car and check in for your return flight back to the UK
