The Maldives doesn't have its own airline, instead it has to reply on its neighbouring countries to provides a service to these tiny island. Dubai and the Maldives, Abu Dhabi and the Maldives both work from the UK as does Sri Lanka and the Maldives - a particular favorite of mine. It isn't particularly close to anywhere, its in the middle of the Indian oceanso creating a multicentre holiday in the Maldives and Beyond can work very well.

Lets not beat around the bush a holiday to the Seychelles is not going to be cheap. Even Air Seychelles had to pull out of operating a direct flight from the UK so its tricky to get too. Bermuda is little known by comparison to the Caribbean Islands but located off the coast of New York and enjoying being outside of the hurricane belt it benefits from lovely warm weather from March through to November. Direct flights from Heathrow and a luxury add on to New York. I was surprised just how nice it was.

An every changing city of amusement and glitter. From our first visit in 1977 to a visit in 2007 and a visit in 2013 the changes never fail to amaze. Old hotels knocked down for new shinny models, roof top bars with stunning " Strip " views. Fabulous swimming pools, top class restaurant , amazing shows and act from well known stars. A must see or to be avoided - always splits the crowd .

Over my career I've been lucky enough to visit the Indian ocean several times. Stayed at a few hotels on Mauritius and conducted site inspections of lots more. Mauritius does stylish resort exceptionally well. The Seychelles Islands is such a different concept, a collection of islands that I have to say are beautiful. Finally we move onto the Maldives, islands to be visitedsooner rather than later. Individual, relaxing, quiet and calming.
