Full Itinerary - Las Vegas & Miami

Days 1 to 5  Las Vegas

The option of direct flights from the UK to both Las Vegas and Miami, and a year round superb warm climate, make this contrasting multi centre holiday combination a success. We suggest you start your holiday by experiencing the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas. British Airways offer flights from Heathrow, Virgin Atlantic offer flights from Manchester & Gatwick. The premium economy upgrade on this route is particularly well priced, if you like extra leg room

Each of the Las Vegas Resort Hotel's is a spectacle in itself, with designer shops, gondola rides, dancing fountains, world class theatre shows and a vast array of dining options. Las Vegas is surrounded by stunning National Parks, the Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon are a must see and are within easy reach for a day trip as are Lake Mead, Zion and Bryce Canyon. 5 nights in Las Vegas will  give you 4 full days to explore the city and its delights and perhaps take a day trip out to the Grand Canyon. The Strip in Las Vegas is over 4 miles long and where you should stay, it runs from The Mandalay Bay Hotel at the west end of the strip all the way up to The Stratosphere Tower at the east end -  over 4 miles packed with hotels, bars, restaurants and entertainment.  There are regular buses running up and down the strip and a metro linking several parts of the strip together. We recommend you select a hotel in the middle of the strip for convenience. The Bellagio is an excellent choice as is The MGM Grand or The Wynn.

Hotel suggestion: The Bellagio

Days 5 to 10 Miami

A five hour flight east allows you to combine the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas with the ultra-chic beach front city of Miami,

Miami is often referred to as the epicentre of ‘cool’. Miami is famous for many things, but Miami is best known for its extremely sunny weather, golden beaches, Art Deco character, electrifying nightlife, restaurant scene and wonderful shopping.

As the ‘Gateway to the Americas’ the 15 miles of glorious beaches make Miami a little different to other large cities, Miami is understandably popular with all ages and attracts a broad spectrum of tourists. Miami is Ideally placed for exploring Southern Florida so don’t miss the opportunity of taking a day trip down to the Florida Keys or across to the Everglades National Park.  As a large sprawling city its important to select the right area to base yourself in. If this is your first visit then South Beach is the location to head for, great beaches, no need for a hire car, lots of restaurants and sidewalk cafes & bistro's and the location of all the Art Deco buildings.  There are plenty of hotels to choose from along Ocean Drive, its important to choose something of a 4* or above in Miami, we'd suggested The Sagamore for a real Miami experience.

Hotel Suggestion:  The Sagamore,  Miami Beach

Day 11

Fly home from  Miami to Heathrow, all flights are over nights landing the following morning

ALTERNATIVE HOLIDAY SUGGESTIONS:

Flexible itinerary

  • Change the number of nights: We have suggested a suitable number of nights in each location but we can alter the duration to suit your personal requirements.

  • Dictate the style & standard of hotel: We will suggest 4* hotels throughout, all in good locations, the standard can be altered if you prefer a more luxurious hotel or more modest accommodation.

  • Your choice: You don't need to hire a car in Vegas unless you'd like to drive yourself out to the National Parks - we'll discuss it with you. In Miami if you want to relax on the beach don't hire a car but if you'd like to see some of the coast and the everglades national parks we suggest you do, Car hire companies rent by group - we will recommend, but the decision is yours
