 This America Multi Centre located in the Deep South combines Nashville, Memphis and New Orleans. An enjoyable and flexible America Multicentre to be enjoyed from November through to July / August. Nashville is the home to country music but more than that its iconic with “ The Broadway” lined with bar after bar showcasing new and existing musicians.

Memphis is short flight and a world away as Elvis takes centre stage and a visit to Gracelands is a must if only for the curiosity. Beale Street is the famous street we have all heard off, lined with restaurant and bars all offering live music late into the night. The Civils Rights Museum and the Rock N Roll museum are well worth a visit as Tennessee is full of history and worth while taking on board.   New Orleans in contrast is home to Jazz, think Creole ad Cajun cuisine and a lively sparkling atmosphere steeped in history.

Spending 3 or 4 nights in each location will leave you wanting more and regardless of the time of year you visit you'll be sure of a warm welcome.

Full Itinerary - Nashville, Memphis & New Orleans

 

Days 1 to 4  Nashville

Known as the country music capital of the world, Nashville is awash with wonderful attractions. Music lovers should visit the Country Music Hall of Fame, the Grand Old Opry and Ryman Auditorium. Finish off the evening with line dancing and local cuisine at the Wild Horse Saloon

During your stay get comfortable in a truly Southern setting at the Millennium Maxwell House, the only music-themed hotel in Nashville featuring distinctive art, design and music memorabilia. Located near the Country Music Hall of Fame and Opry Mills shopping centre, the hotel is minutes from the Nashville Convention Centre, Adelphia Stadium and the shopping, dining and entertainment highlights of downtown.

Days 5 to 7 Memphis

A short flight across Tennessee brings you to Memphis, the home of the blues and the birth place of rock ’un’ roll.    While in Memphis make sure you visit the National Civil Rights Museum, the Rock & Soul Museum and then to Beale Street for live blues music and Creole cuisine. Of course no visit to Memphis without taking a trip to Gracelands complete with Elvis’ private jet and memorabilia museum.

Day 18 to 11   New Orleans

New Orleans a city that is often classed as the jewel of the southern state of Louisiana with its lively and sparkling atmosphere.  Think music, Louis Armstrong and the birthplace of jazz, think celebrations and festivals including the world-famous Mardi Gras which is held in late February/March each year, think of a place with a reputation for good food, including Creole and Cajan cuisine, think a subtropical climate. All these things paint a vibrant picture and offer the traveller an experience that is uniquely “New Orleans” and yet the city still maintains a laid back and genial atmosphere
